VBC South Hall - Main Entrance

South Hall is the main exhibit and convention space at the Von Braun Center in downtown Huntsville. It has 35 foot ceilings and a floor load capacity of 350 pounds per square foot, which suits large trade and consumer shows, conventions and banquets, and it connects to attached ballrooms and meeting rooms. The adjoining 15,000 square foot pre-function lobby was renovated in 2025, and expanded loading docks serve the center. Exhibitors get on-site assistance with layouts, registration and exhibitor management, plus in-house A/V, sound, lighting and rigging. VBC provides in-house catering and bar service for all events, and outside vendors need pre-approval. Complimentary Wi-Fi covers the building, and dedicated connections can be arranged. Multiple surface lots and an on-site garage are available, and a skybridge links the center to an Embassy Suites. An event calendar, campus map and venue guide are published.
