About Helms Design Center
Helms Design Center sits inside the Helms Bakery District at 8800 Venice Boulevard, a historic Culver City landmark built in 1931 that mixes restaurants, design and home furnishings shops, and a design center with showrooms for Adotta, Jules Seltzer Associates, Maharam and Orama. The complex uses its indoor and outdoor spaces for art, architecture and design events, talks and exhibitions, including the Culver City Arts Festival on Saturday, October 10, 2026, which brings together artists, designers, makers and cultural partners. Open-air evening programs run on Helms Walk, and one talk is limited to 20 guests with RSVP required. Free parking is available in the surface lots, and valet parking is offered too. An events calendar lists current and past programs. Rated 4.6 from 15 Google reviews, 11 of them five stars.
