About Ramona Town Hall Inc

Ramona Town Hall, also called the People's Hall, is an adobe building from 1894 in Ramona, California, registered as a State Historic Landmark with Romanesque and Mission Revival architecture. Augustus and Martha Barnett donated it to the townspeople on Washington's Birthday in 1894, and a five-member board of trustees holds it in trust. It is not a government agency. The hall rents for weddings, yoga, parties, movie nights, health fairs, craft fairs, meetings and community events, and it runs on fundraisers, grants and private donations. Ramona is about 45 minutes from downtown San Diego and 25 minutes from Poway, Rancho Bernardo and Escondido. Upcoming events are posted for visitors. Rated 4.7 from 19 Google reviews, 15 of them five stars and 3 four stars.
