San Jose Scottish Rite Center

San Jose Scottish Rite is the home of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry Valley of San Jose, Orient of California, a Masonic organization that promotes fellowship, charity and personal growth through events, degree ceremonies and community service. It also runs the RiteCare Language Clinic and publishes a monthly newsletter, Voices of the Valley. Four spaces are available for rent: an auditorium, a social hall, an event room and a conference room. The event room is recommended for smaller receptions, small social gatherings and small parties, while the conference room suits board meetings, conference calls and management discussions. Renters need event insurance, which starts around $100 depending on the number of guests, whether alcohol is served and the coverage chosen. A liquor license is not required for private events, though a competent individual must serve alcohol to guests, and public events need a liquor license. A Book Now button starts a rental request, and an upcoming events page lists what is on the schedule. Rated 3.9 from 21 Google reviews, 15 of them five stars and 6 one star.
