McCormick Place

Four linked buildings on Chicago's lakefront, minutes from downtown, make up McCormick Place, a convention campus built for trade shows, conferences, corporate events and exhibitions of any size. It offers 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space, 1.2 million square feet of it on one level, with ceiling heights up to 50 feet. Meeting space runs to 170 meeting rooms and 600,000 square feet, and there are 6 ballrooms, led by the 100,000 square foot Skyline Ballroom, which divides into five rooms. Assembly seating holds 18,000 people, and the 4,188 seat Arie Crown Theater is part of the complex. The campus also has a 2.5 acre rooftop garden. The 800-room Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Hotel is an integral part of convention center operations. Drivers have access to 5,800 parking spaces across Lots A, B and C, and exhibitor vehicles in the ASUV program check in at the Marshalling Yard Office. Catering is managed by OVG Hospitality, and exhibitors can order wired internet and Wi-Fi service. Floor plans for the West, South and North Buildings and Lakeside Center are published, and an event calendar shows which building hosts each show.
