THE MART

THE MART is a 3.7 million square foot building on the Chicago River that spans two city blocks and rises 25 stories. Best known for home design and furniture, it houses hundreds of tenants and more than 250 design showrooms, and it is home to trade and consumer shows. Event space can be booked for theater or classroom style meetings, cocktail receptions and tradeshows. One event space, with full service catering and beverage packages, holds 450 for a reception or 250 seated in a full buyout. River Park, a 13,000 SF outdoor space, sits directly on the river on the building's southern side. A loading dock with more than 50 berths is open weekdays from 4am to 8:30pm and Saturdays from 6am to 2:30pm, with freight elevators. The building connects directly to the Brown and Purple CTA trains on the second floor, CTA buses 37 and 125 stop nearby, Metra stations are within walking distance, and more than 5,000 parking spaces lie within four blocks.
