The Pavilion

The Pavilion in Marion, Illinois, is a city-owned event center of about 40,000 square feet on a 50-acre property set on a 12-acre lake off Williamson County Parkway. Its Expo Hall is built for trade shows, conventions and exhibitions and holds 100 to 4,000 guests, while the ballroom spans about 6,000 square feet with a 25 by 25 foot dance floor. Three meeting rooms of 38 by 51 feet, each 1,938 square feet, can be used alone or combined. Weddings, banquets, seminars, concerts and reunions fill the rest of the calendar, and upcoming events are posted. The main parking lot has 313 regular spaces and 12 handicap-accessible spaces, with an auxiliary lot for about 120 vehicles, and parking is free with a rental.
