About Waterloo Convention Center
Waterloo Convention Center at Sullivan Brothers Plaza stands in downtown Waterloo, Iowa, and has been through a multi-million-dollar renovation and expansion. It opened as the Conway Civic Center in the 1970s. The space combines an expansive lobby with lounge areas, a ballroom that divides into four spaces, a conference room and an exhibit hall, with over 40,000 square feet of available space across the exhibition hall, lobby, nine meeting rooms and one conference room. Airwalls separate the meeting rooms and ballrooms so they can combine, and layouts suit groups from 10 to 2,000. Exhibitors get drive-in access off Commercial Street near Park Avenue, with a truck height loading dock, and diagrams of the rooms are posted. The plaza honors the Sullivan Brothers and is a stop on the Waterloo Veterans Way. Rated 4.3 from 312 Google reviews, 181 of them five stars.
