Overland Park Convention Center

Overland Park Convention Center opened in November 2002 on a 26-acre site in Overland Park, Kansas, and hosts events for 4 to 4,000 people. The 254,000 square foot complex pairs a 60,000 square foot exhibit hall with the 25,000 square foot Edwin C. Eilert Ballroom and 15,000 square feet of meeting rooms, and its pre-function and registration areas cover 44,000 square feet with natural light. The exhibition halls sit on the Main Level with direct access to the loading dock, and they suit consumer and trade shows as well as banquets and conferences. Courtyard rooms, outdoor spaces and an executive conference room seating 14 round out the space. Parking is always free, with approximately 1,000 spaces around the complex and 17 accessible spots under a covered lot. A Sheraton hotel is attached but runs as a separate entity, and over 1,000 guest rooms are within walking distance. In-house food and beverage, in-house audiovisual support and complimentary Wi-Fi come with events, and the building displays over sixty original works of art.
