About Kentucky International Convention Center
The Kentucky International Convention Center, known as KICC, stands at 221 S. 4th St in downtown Louisville and reopened after a $207 million renovation and expansion. The building offers over 200,000 square feet of exhibit space, 52 meeting rooms, a 175-seat theatre and a 40,000 square foot ballroom, with 300,000 square feet available in all. It holds LEED Silver certification and provides 24-hour public safety. Load-in is split by area: the 2nd Street Loading Dock serves the upper exhibit halls and east meeting rooms, while the 3rd Street Loading Dock serves the lower concourse meeting rooms and ballrooms. Planners and exhibitors can view floor plans and an event calendar and order venue services ahead of a show. Parking is offered in nearby garages, including the Commonwealth Garage on Jefferson Street. Rated 4.5 from 1949 Google reviews, 1319 of them five stars. A white canopy reaches out from a 70-foot perch above downtown, and accessible parking, nearby restaurants and attractions are close by.
