DeVos Place

DeVos Place sits on the banks of the Grand River in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, and hosts conventions, trade shows, consumer events, banquets and performances, often several at once. The exhibit hall has 162,000 square feet of column-free space, and the building adds a 40,000 square foot ballroom, 26 sub-dividable meeting rooms totaling 32,000 square feet and a 2,404-seat performing arts theater that is home to four performing arts groups. Twelve loading docks, with a wash bay and marshaling area, open on Michigan Street into the exhibit hall. Parking sits under the convention center, open around the clock, and oversized vehicles that do not fit a parking structure may get a permit to park on Scribner Street during an event. The Amway Grand Plaza, JW Marriott and Courtyard by Marriott, with more than 1,100 rooms, are reached by a climate controlled skywalk. Downtown Grand Rapids is 15 minutes from Gerald R. Ford Airport.
