Mayo Civic Center, at 30 Civic Center Drive SE in downtown Rochester, Minnesota, offers nearly 200,000 square feet of multi-use space for conventions and events along the Zumbro riverbank. The 2017 expansion added a 40,000-square-foot ballroom seating more than 3,600, 14 rooms and pre-function spaces. A 25,200-square-foot exhibit hall is reached from the north patio off Center Street or two rear loading docks, and the arena, auditorium and Dr. Charles H. Mayo Presentation Hall complete the floor plan. Riverfront Plaza and the 11-acre Mayo Park host outdoor gatherings. A climate-controlled skyway links the center to downtown hotels, restaurants, parking and shopping, and the Civic Center Ramp is attached by skyway.
