Just five minutes from the KCI airport, KCI Expo Center in Kansas City runs consumer tradeshows, corporate conventions, concerts and weddings. Its clear span exhibition hall covers 70,000 square feet and can divide into two 35,000-square-foot halls, with electric, phone, water, compressed air and natural gas hookups. Four dock bays with adjustable dock plates and two ground-level overhead doors take semi-trailers. Ten meeting rooms range from 260 to 6745 square feet and hold 10 to 650 people theatre style, alongside 11,000 square feet of carpeted meeting space. The main room seats 5200 theatre style, and portable bleachers are available. Parking is free, with 900 spaces. Heart of America Catering is the exclusive in-house provider of food and beverage, and Liberty Exposition Service is the preferred decorator. A Holiday Inn stands adjacent, with a restaurant on site.
