About J.E. Broyhill Civic Center
The J.E. Broyhill Civic Center in Lenoir grew out of a former Fairfield Chair Company showroom that CCC&TI purchased in 1989. That building held 23,250 square feet on 13.3 acres, and it has since become a performing arts venue and conference center for Caldwell County and the surrounding area. The 1,000 seat auditorium handles full stage productions, and the calendar mixes concerts, comedy and culture. The nearby Broyhill House sits on a twelve-acre property along U.S. 321 with gardens, a pavilion and an outdoor covered gazebo. It has 34 rooms spanning approximately 8,000 square feet, two breakout rooms in the Satie and J.E. Broyhill Suites and two private meeting rooms on the upper level. Catering is handled in house by the JEBCC Catering Group, with Chef Corey Hooks as executive chef. A patron drop-off point and ample parking areas can accommodate large crowds. Rated 4.5 from 567 Google reviews, 390 of them five stars.
