About Old Armory

The Old Armory is a historic event venue in downtown Williston, built in 1915 for the National Guard and dedicated on April 24, 1916. The brick building keeps its turrets and facade and now serves as a civilian space. A large auditorium with a stage seats up to 225 guests, and a lower-level room holds up to 125 for smaller gatherings. An onsite catering kitchen is available for food and drinks. Weddings, corporate meetings, fundraisers and community gatherings all fit its spaces. Community members rallied to save the building when it was slated to become a parking lot, and since the 1990s a seven member board appointed by the Williston City Commission has operated it. Rated 4.6 from 64 Google reviews, 46 of them five stars.
