About The Dome Civic and Convention Center
The Dome Civic and Convention Center in Borger, Texas, is an aluminum geodesic dome built in 1957 in the Texas Panhandle. The City completed a full remodel of the historic structure in the early 2020s. The structure is an icon of the town's agricultural and industrial community. The facility covers 33,000 square feet and hosts private, corporate and charity events as well as ticketed live events for the Panhandle. Reservations start with a booking inquiry form, and a calendar shows what is already booked. A policy change took effect August 1, 2024, and BYOB is no longer allowed for reservations moving forward.
