The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center at 901 Prices Fork Road in Blacksburg is the only hotel on the Virginia Tech campus and houses its own conference center. The Latham Ballroom measures 64 by 138 feet at 8,832 square feet and divides into sections A through F, seating 791 for a reception or theater setup, 700 at a banquet, 299 classroom style and 233 in a conference arrangement. Smaller rooms such as the Old Guard and the Salon are charted the same way, and a separate capacity chart covers the Great Lawn, so the spaces work indoors and outdoors with mountain views. Each meeting room carries audio and visual equipment, and meeting packages can include accommodations, planning and catering.
